One of the qualities that makes our congregation a warm and welcoming organization is the sense of family and responsibility that we hold for one another. When someone gets involved in the workings of AARC, it becomes apparent to them that each and every member brings something valuable to the table, be it music, writing, community building, law, activism, education, technological expertise, etc. We could not be who we are without every single one of us. It is a rare honor to be a part of such an organization, one that everyone believes in and values.

And of course, a heartfelt thank you to the person who made everything possible: GILLIAN JACKSON. Not only did Gillian oversee all the committees (which in itself is a monumental task), she was present during all the hours of the services with our rabbi and cantor, staying behind the camera, wearing her mask the whole time. With her amazing tech crew, Gillian overcame the sound problems that occurred and helped us all be connected. Her dedication to our congregation is stellar.
Plus: while not volunteers, our staff: Rabbi Ora, Gillian and Clare, and our guest cantor Gabrielle Pescador put in so much time and so much heart that we can’t really thank them enough. Not only did Gabrielle share her voice and music with us, but also her house as her home became broadcast central. We have much to be thankful for!
