LGBTQ Inclusive

Another Jew for LGBTQ Equality

The Ann Arbor Reconstructionist Congregation actively values LGBTQ presence and participation as an essential part of our community. We lift up forgotten and erased LGBTQ narratives in our tradition, value the contributions of the LGBTQ Jewish community to tikkun olam, and advocate to change cultures that exclude or denigrate LGBTQ people.

AARC welcomes the contributions and participation of transgender and non-binary individuals. We embrace everyone regardless of gender expression and encourage our members to be respectful of people’s pronouns.

Leaders in our community have attended the Keshet Leadership Project and we are committed to LGBTQ inclusion in our community.
